Student bike rental FAQ
Can I rent a bike just for one semester?
Yes. The 3-month plan at CHF 29.45 per month covers a short stay, and the Flexible plan at CHF 34.50 per month can be cancelled any time with no notice period.
Who can use the student and staff offers?
Students and staff of ETH Zürich, University of Zürich, University Hospital Zürich have their own subscription at CHF 24.70 per month. If your institution is not listed, message us and we will look into it.
What happens if the bike breaks during the semester?
Message us and we arrange the repair. Maintenance and repairs for normal use are included, with on-site support in Zürich.
Is the bike insured against theft?
Theft coverage and emergency support are included, and every bike comes with two locks — a wheel lock and a chain lock.
How do I cancel when my exchange ends?
On the Flexible plan you cancel any time with no notice period. On the 3-month plan you cancel with one month's notice after the minimum term. The 12-month plan can be cancelled any time after its minimum term. Details are in our cancellation policy.
